Nick Zapp’s practice focuses on advocating for injured clients and defending the wrongly accused in federal and state court. He has handled cases to trial and understands the importance of each stage of litigation.
Nick began his career in litigation at one of Albany’s oldest law firms where he worked in a variety of practice areas. He went on to sharpen his litigation skills as an Assistant Attorney General (AAG) in the Litigation Bureau for the New York Office of the Attorney General.
While working as an AAG, Nick defended state employees in federal civil rights proceedings and state Article 78 proceedings. He handled cases from start to finish and resolved matters with dispositive motions, settlement agreements, and jury verdicts.
Nick understands that every case must be evaluated differently with careful consideration to the facts, the law, and the client’s needs. Nick currently resides in southern Columbia County with his wife near his family’s farm.
